For active stocks, options & futures traders and investors

The trading journal that shows you
which setups actually make you money

note500 turns your trade history into a coach: an AI reads your trades after every close and names your biggest leaks — overtrading, revenge, the setups quietly bleeding you — while decades of market seasonality show you where your edge really sits.

Most journals die in a data-entry backlog by week three. note500 syncs your broker or logs a trade in seconds, then does the rest — your P&L calendar, equity curve, setup and psychology stats, and an AI review that reads your journal and tells you what's quietly working. Come for the numbers, stay because you finally know which setups deserve your size.

FREE FOREVER · NO CARD · LOG YOUR FIRST TRADE IN SECONDS
The note500 dashboard — Net P&L, profit factor and win-rate KPIs over the account-balance equity curve, the note500 score radar, a green-and-red P&L calendar and the recent-trades table.

AI reads every trade, names the mistake, tells you how to fix it — then tracks whether you actually did.

How it works

Three steps to a cleaner process

You'll have something worth looking at before your next session.

1

Make an account

Email or Google — no setup wizard, no onboarding checklist. You'll be logging your first trade in about a minute.

2

Log or import

Add trades as you take them, or bring your history in from JSON, CSV, XML or a Schwab export. Everything feeds your calendar, curve and stats from the first entry.

3

Find the pattern

Once a handful of trades are closed, the Dashboard, Reports and AI review come to life — and the setups worth repeating start to stand out on their own.

Type any ticker and AI reads the charts and the fundamentals into one honest call — Bullish, Bearish or Neutral.

Why note500

Why traders choose note500

The reasons it wins a place in your morning routine — and keeps it.

Seasonality nobody else has

Nearly a century of SPX, DJI, NDX and QQQ tendencies — by day, week, month and year — with your own trades overlaid. No other journal ships this.

Priced to be fair

The full workflow is $19/mo and the top tier $29 — versus the $29–$49 the big journals charge. Yearly drops Plus to $15.80/mo.

A free plan that isn't a demo

Log trades by hand, see your calendar and core stats, and export your data — at $0, no card, no expiry. A genuine journal, not a locked trial.

Broker sync, on the entry plan

Connect your brokerage once and pull every fill in automatically — read-only, no password ever touching us — not gated to the most expensive tier.

Every asset you trade

Stocks, options, futures and crypto in one journal — with the right contract multiplier already applied, so P&L, return and hold time are correct out of the box.

Built by traders, for traders

Shaped by someone who journals every session — the cards you actually open each morning, in the order you reach for them. Made for the way traders really work.

note500 isn't for you if you need backtesting, trade replay, or mentor/mentee workflows — TradeZella and Tradervue do those better. For everyone else, start free.

From the maker

Built by a trader who needed it

I kept a trading journal for a year and it told me what I did but never why it went wrong. So I built note500: an AI reads your closed trades and names your biggest leaks, and decades of seasonality show where your edge actually sits.

It's new — I'd rather show you the product than a wall of five-star quotes I can't back up. The free tier is a real one: log trades, see your P&L calendar, export anytime. Try it, then tell me what's missing — I read every message.

FAQ

Questions traders ask

How does the free trial work?

Pick a plan and Stripe's secure checkout takes your card — but charges $0 today. You get 7 days of full access to everything: every report, every chart, the AI review. The first payment comes on day 8, and cancelling before then costs you nothing. After the trial, Plus is $19/mo and Ultimate $29/mo.

What can I track?

Stocks, options, futures and crypto — the contract multiplier defaults to the right value for each. Log entries, exits, size, setup tags, psychology chips and your planned risk; note500 handles the P&L math, R-multiples, calendars and statistics.

Can I bring my trade history with me?

Yes — import from JSON, CSV, XML or a raw Schwab transactions export, into whichever portfolio you choose. Export is just as easy: a whole portfolio or a single date range, as re-importable JSON or a flat CSV for a spreadsheet.

Do I have to log every leg?

Only if you want to. Simple mode lets you type a day's total P/L and move on — ideal for back-filling months of history. You can always go back and add detail to a day later.

Is my data private?

Your journal is visible only to you. Sessions are token-based (with optional Google sign-in), passwords are hashed, every query is scoped to your account, and your data is never shared or sold. You can export the whole thing at any time.

Is this financial advice?

No. note500 is a journaling and analytics tool. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell anything — the edge it finds is your own.
