Connect a secure, read-only sync and your fills land automatically — or drop in a CSV, JSON or XML export in seconds. Either way you go from raw fills to real analysis in minutes, not spreadsheets.
Handing a journal access to your brokerage is a big ask — so we built the connection to earn it. A journal should read your trades, never touch your money. That isn't just our policy: it's the only thing the connection is technically able to do.
Every connection is scoped to read your trade history and balances — nothing more. note500 can't place an order, cancel one, or move a single cent. Not by promise — by permission.
You sign in on your broker's own page — your username and password go straight to them and never pass through note500. All we ever hold is a revocable, read-only token.
Your data is protected in transit and at rest with strong, industry-standard encryption — the same class of protection banks rely on.
Disconnect in one click, any time, from your settings — the read-only token is revoked immediately and no further data is pulled. Trades you've already imported stay in your journal.
Powered by SnapTrade, a specialist in secure, read-only brokerage connections trusted across the finance industry. Here's exactly what happens — and what never does.
Some brokers sync live in a couple of clicks. For the rest, a file export imports just as cleanly. You're never blocked either way.
We partner with SnapTrade — a specialist in secure, read-only brokerage connections trusted across the industry — to link your account. Authorize once and your new fills flow in on their own.
Not on live sync yet, or just prefer files? Export a statement and drop it in. note500 reads the common broker formats and maps the columns for you.
Read-only live sync, file import, or both — across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and India, and covering stocks, options, futures and crypto.
…and 20+ more brokerages connectable through SnapTrade — 39 in the live catalogue and growing.
Tell us who you'd like to connect next. We add integrations in the order traders ask for them — so your request genuinely moves it up the queue. In the meantime, a file export will get your history in today.
Yes — it's the part we're most careful about. Live connections run through SnapTrade, a specialist in secure brokerage data trusted by established financial companies. You log in on your broker's own site, we never see your credentials, and the link is read-only: note500 can view your trade history and balances but can't trade or move funds.
Once you connect via live sync, your existing history imports right away, and after that you can re-sync whenever you want the latest fills — before your weekly review, say. File imports are on demand: drop in a fresh export any time.
Almost certainly. If live sync isn't available for your broker yet, export a CSV, JSON or XML statement and import it — note500 recognises the common broker formats and maps the columns for you. And send us a request: we prioritise new integrations by how many traders ask for them.
Stocks, options, futures and crypto, with the right contract multiplier applied automatically. Supported brokers span the US, UK, Canada, Australia and India, plus major crypto exchanges.
Any time, in one click, from your settings. Disconnecting revokes the read-only token immediately — your already-imported trades stay in your journal, and no further data is pulled.
Start free, no card. Sync or import, then let note500 turn your fills into the numbers that actually tell you where your edge is.
Read-only connections · your credentials never touch us · disconnect any time.
