note500 vs Tradervue — an honest comparison
Tradervue basically invented the online trading journal and has earned its 200,000+ users. note500 is the newcomer. Here's where each one genuinely wins — written by the note500 team, with the bias that implies, but with real numbers you can check.
The short version
- Pick Tradervue if you want the most battle-tested journal on the market, 80+ platform integrations, trade sharing with a mentor, or exit/max-potential analysis it has refined for over a decade.
- Pick note500 if you want AI-written reviews of your actual trades, ~100 years of market seasonality crossed with your own results, options/futures included without a premium tier — or simply a real free plan with no card.

Where Tradervue is honestly ahead
Maturity and breadth. A decade-plus of refinement shows: more broker integrations than anyone (80+), community trade sharing, a mentor/mentee workflow used by trading educators, and specialized analyses like exit performance and max-potential P&L that note500 doesn't have yet. If those are your daily tools, Tradervue earns its price.
Where note500 is different
Three bets Tradervue hasn't made: AI review — the journal reads your trades and writes back what your edge is and where you leak money; seasonality — your results laid over ~100 years of market tendencies, so "is this month usually like this?" has an answer; and price structure — options and futures analysis included in every paid plan instead of reserved for a $49.95 tier, plus a free plan you can actually live on while you decide.
