What's new in note500, newest first. We build in the open —
this is the running record.
v1.0.80 – v1.0.87Aug 13–14, 2026New
Your Leaks, and AI Review gets its own home
- Your Leaks — 12 detectors that surface the recurring habits
quietly costing you money (revenge trades, oversized entries, holding
losers, low-edge days and more), with trust and window controls and a
clean redesigned table.
- AI Review is now its own sidebar tab, split into AI Analysis,
Recommendations and Progress — easier to reach and to live in.
- The daily review now falls back to your last trading day with data,
so a quiet day never leaves it blank.
- All marketing screenshots moved to dark mode to match the app.
v1.0.70 – v1.0.79Aug 11–13, 2026New
Free tools, more brokers, and a fuller Reports Overview
- Two free public tools — a Seasonality Explorer and a Position
Size Calculator, no account needed.
- 19 brokers supported, with a dedicated brokers page, plus a
lost-connection alert and a non-blocking sync progress panel.
- Reports Overview, expanded and free — return, high-water-mark,
daily and per-share stats, skew/kurtosis, a two-column layout and a
Macro Edge pill, with the empty-state cases cleaned up.
- Seasonality now overlays the current year's actual path on past
weekly, monthly and quarterly periods.
- A landing-page walkthrough video and a broad visual redesign.
v1.0.62 – v1.0.69Aug 8–9, 2026New
A sharper public site and cleaner shared cards
- A design-system pass across every public page — larger type, a shared
stylesheet, aligned heroes, and an upgraded pricing card and comparison
table.
- An honest landing page: a founder note (replacing invented
testimonials), a mobile "coming soon" section, and the supported-broker
lineup.
- The combined "all portfolios" balance chart now aggregates broker
snapshots correctly, and draws a flat line rather than a lone dot for a
quiet window.
v1.0.45 – v1.0.61Aug 5–8, 2026New
Share your day, and land where the action is
- Shareable cards. A single-day results card (hero P&L + trade
list) and a My Day tab with by-ticker results — both with a
premium, branded, light/dark share image, watermarked with note500.com.
- Free-tier funnel. A no-card landing CTA and a first-run
onboarding banner so new traders can start immediately.
- New users now land on the Calendar tab after login.
- Link-based promo codes (
/pricing?promo=CODE) and a
beta-launch offer.
v1.0.50 – v1.0.56Aug 6–7, 2026Fixed
Broker balances you can trust
- Short options priced right. Fixed the pairing sign so a
sell-to-open opens a short, not a long — realized P&L on options
accounts now reconciles.
- Accurate history for options accounts. Where the broker feed's
historical value is synthetic, balance history is reconstructed from
your realized P&L; flat-close days render exact.
- Cross-month trades no longer dropped or double-counted. Full
syncs carry open lots across each chunk, so a hold opened one month and
closed the next pairs exactly once.
- Estimated end-of-day balances now show the exact value with a small
† mark and a footnote, instead of an approximate figure.
v1.0.33 – v1.0.38Aug 3–4, 2026New
The AI review, reborn as a report card
- The AI trade review was redesigned into a data-forward report
card: a 0–100 score, then what you do right, your mistakes, and how to
improve — each finding backed by the dollars from your own trades, with
a trend versus the window before.
- AI auto-notes. Daily and weekly reviews now drop a short summary
straight into your Notebook (with a toggle to turn it off).
- A macro-event edge card that's visible on the free plan.
v1.0.27 – v1.0.32Aug 3, 2026New
Real screenshots and marketing pages
- New marketing and comparison pages, with real, uncropped product
screenshots across the site and expanded feature copy.
- A Total Trades stat on the Calendar tab, and a fix for the
starting-balance flash on dashboard load.
v1.0.16 – v1.0.24Aug 1, 2026New
Broker sync, sharper and faster — plus the Android app groundwork
- Scalps split correctly. Intraday round-trips are now recorded
as individual trades (FIFO per fill) instead of a single day-netted
row — your trade count and per-trade stats are finally right.
- Faster full syncs. Large history syncs are chunked and
bulk-inserted so they finish well within time limits, and the balance
backfill respects your chosen date range.
- Fewer rate-limit stalls. A higher sync cap and automatic retry
on throttling; dashboard balances refresh right after a sync.
- Cleaner History tab. A new Fee column, and days with no
activity are hidden so the list is only real trading days.
- Android app groundwork. The domain links that let a native
Android app open note500 are live — the app itself is in preparation.
v1.0.12 – v1.0.15Jul 30, 2026New
Faster pages, new guides, and better end-of-day balances
- Lighter, faster site. Every screenshot converted to WebP —
about 70% less page weight on the marketing pages.
- New help & comparison pages — a free-trading-journal guide,
a Schwab import walkthrough, and an honest note500-vs-Tradervue
comparison.
- Better search & AI visibility — sitemap, robots and an
llms.txt briefing so search engines and AI assistants can find and
quote note500 accurately.
- End-of-day balances now show only days with real activity and
correct for unrealized P&L on the anchor.
v1.0.9 – v1.0.11Jul 29–30, 2026New
Phone-first redesign & honest broker balances
- A new phone-first design. A cleaner, dark, mobile-first
interface with collapsible cards throughout.
- Honest broker balances. Account balance now reflects your true
total account value, with pre-snapshot days sensibly back-estimated.
- Refreshed, rebranded app icons across every page.
v1.0.1 – v1.0.8Jul 28, 2026Fixed
Post-launch polish
- Fixed the History tab so end-of-day balance shows your real account
balance rather than cumulative P&L.
- Resolved a broker-authorization error and restored seasonality data
writes.
- Filled in Terms & Privacy for launch; tidied report and stat
tiles; surfaced checkout errors clearly.
